Hoyt Arboretum Portland Oregon Engagement Photos- Hawaii + PNW Couples Photographer

The Hoyt Arboretum resides right on the outskirts of the big city of Portland, a lush green forest full of moss, ferns and trees such as redwoods and other conifers. Gianna and Nick traveled from Olympia Washington to work with me and we had a ton of fun exploring this fairytale of a forest!

Gianna and Nick were so fun to get to know and work with, they are high school sweethearts that share a love for plants and trees! We shared a lot of laughs, quiet moments admiring mother nature herself and after our session we shared a couple drinks and dinner at a favorite cafe of mine (Phat Cart). I am always grateful for clients like these two, it feels like a breath of fresh air when I am with like minded people- deeply passionate and chaotic in the best of ways. Creating a connection with them was effortless because it felt like we had been friends for years!
