Adventure Destination Elopement near Pololu Valley | Big Island Hawaii

As we wrap up the holiday season, I am happy to finally get around to making a blog post for this very special elopement from last October. Anna and Nick, traveled all the way from the big city of Chicago to this little Big island to tie the knot along the cliffside’s of Hawi near Pololu Valley.

This was my very first time getting to plan an adventure elopement here in Hawaii… back in 2018 when I first ever stepped foot here on the Island, I told myself my dream was to help couples elope here and photograph them doing just that… four years later it came true! Four years of moving back and fourth- living in Bend Oregon for 7 months of my life, Washington State with family during covid for another 8 months… I can officially say I’ve been living my dream here in Hawaii for over one solid year!

Okay so- back on the subject of Anna and Nicks special day… These two trusted my location recommendation, took their 4x4 jeep on a sketchy road with me and boom- we ended up with some actual out of this world pictures that they can cherish for years to come. They also ended up spending almost an entire month out here on the island as husband and wife and I really hope they can return soon- or maybe I’ll have to come to Chicago and see them!
