I am so happy to finally have this dreamy engagement session up on the blog! These two lovebirds booked me for my 4-hour adventure session, and let me tell you—it was pure magic. Maybe you're thinking, "Four hours?! That sounds like overkill!" But honestly? These two made the most of every single minute.

What a 4-Hour Engagement Session Looks Like
Occasionally for my 4-hour adventure sessions, my couples want to head somewhere epic—like the mountains or the coast—where we spend the whole time hiking and exploring. But when we stay local (like on Whidbey Island), I love encouraging my clients to choose two locations close to each other to give the session variety and flow.
Longer sessions are perfect for:
Multiple outfit changes
Unhurried, candid moments
Exploring different backdrops
Telling a full story
This session included 3 outfit changes, so many laughs, and some of the sweetest in-between moments.
Our First Location: A Private Garden & Orchard in Langley, WA
We kicked things off at the property I’m currently lucky enough to live on, right next to Orchard Kitchen in Langley, WA. This space is truly something special—private forest access, my boyfriend’s mom’s stunning flower garden and orchard, and the dreamiest open field surrounded by towering trees.
We spent about two hours frolicking through the forest, picking organic peaches and plums, dancing, and soaking in the golden light. It was pure magic.

Why Longer Sessions = Better Photos (And More Fun!)
Another perk of a longer session? Outfit changes without the rush. These two rocked three looks, each capturing a different vibe—from playful and casual in the garden, to romantic and elegant in the forest, and later, windswept coastal feels at the beach.
It also gave us space to breathe, explore, and capture those unposed, intimate moments that really show your connection.
Second Location: Ebey’s Landing Sunset Magic
After soaking in the Langley forest and garden, we drove about 30 minutes to Ebey’s Landing—one of my favorite spots for Whidbey Island engagement sessions or elopement portraits. The views, the colors, the light—it’s all breathtaking.
